Pure Katan Silk Banarasi

Woven with lustrous Katan silk, the fabric is crisp yet fluid — perfect for weddings and grand occasions. The Kadhwa technique creates motifs with exceptional clarity.

Dense Tanchoi motifs are woven with resham (pure silk) threads, creating a subtle sheen on the silk ground. The reverse side is almost as clean as the front.

Preserve the Heirloom

Care Guide

A Banarasi saree, cared for gently, can be passed down for generations.

Dry clean only for the first wash. Subsequently, gentle hand wash in cold water is possible, but dry cleaning is still recommended.

Store wrapped in soft muslin cloth. Refold along different lines every few months to prevent permanent creasing.

Keep away from direct sunlight, perfume, and moisture. Store in a cool, dry place — never in plastic.

Do not wring or twist. Dry flat in shade. Handle the zari borders with particular care.
